SUMMARY:Malvern Hills
DESCRIPTION:Park in the North Quarry or Tank Quarry car park and meet at the clock tower in North Malvern (Explorer 190\, SO 769 470\, WR14 4LX) for a 9.75 mile hard walk with a stiff climb at the beginning but which\, hopefully\, will avoid too much mud.  The route goes up the quarry path and over to the Elim Centre\, where\, if walkers are interested\, we will visit Roget’s grave before using paths to the west to reach Brockhill Road and the outskirts of Colwall.  Lunch will be near the Chase Inn and so there’s an opportunity to grab a quick half (and use the facilities) before continuing.  We then head back to the Wyche via the Purlieu and West Malvern.  The route then goes over Sugarloaf and End Hill (descent here muddy and slippery in places) before returning to the start.  BPL. \n\n\n\nMeet: \n\n\n\nNorth Malvern Clock Tower \n\n\n\nLeaders: \n\n\n\nRay and Mary07736 22975
